JUMPOLOGY: Ex-PDP Guber Candidate in Niger Joins APC
POLITICS DIGEST- Muhammad Umar Nasko a former Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has been officially received as a member of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Niger State by the Gubernatorial candidate of the Party, Umaru Mohammed Bago.
The APC National Zonal Chairman North Central, Muazu Bawa, State Chairman, Haliru Zakari Jikantoro, and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Ibrahim Balarabe were among many party stalwarts and supporters at the brief event in the residence of Umar Nasko in Minna.
He promised to work assiduously for the victory of APC in the Governorship and State Assembly elections.

Umar Nasko is a young politician from Magama local government area, a son to Lt.Gen. Muhammad Gado Nasko.
He has carved a nitch for himself politically, hence, he is loved by thousands of youths in Niger State.
Nasko was a strong PDP member and was an active member of the State Executive Council in the last administration in Niger State (2007 to 2015) who served in different capacity.
Nasko was the Governorship candidate of PDP in 2015 and 2019 elections respectively.
The former PDP stalwart in Niger State had expressed his interest to contest for the Niger North Senatorial seat, but withdrew his ambition immediately the present Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello of the APC declared his intention for the same position.
It is believed that his coming into the APC at this critical time, when the Governorship and State Assembly elections is around the corner, will be a boost to the ruling party.
