JUST IN: APC Fixes Date for Edo Guber Primary Re-run

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared the Edo state governorship primary election incomplete.

According to the statement released by Felix Morka, APC, Publicity Secretary on Tuesday night, the National Working Committee (NWC) deliberated on the report and resolved that the Edo State Governorship Primary Election has not been completed, and has now fixed Thursday February 22, 2024 for the completion of the Primary Election Process.
Recall that Mr. Denise Idahosa, who represents Ovia Federal Constituency, was announced winner by the Chairman APC, Primary Election Committee and Governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, at Protea Hotel, while Senator Monday Okpebholo was declared winner by the Returning Officer for the election, Dr. Stanley Ugboaje at the residence of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
