JUST IN: Atiku Votes in Jimeta, Kicks Against Vote Buying
POLITICS DIGEST – The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has cast his ballot.

Dressed in a white Kaftan with a cap to match and accompanied by his wife, Hajiya Titi Abubakar, Atiku was accredited by exactly 9:00 am and was able to cast his ballots in the open secret ballot system at exactly 9:11am.
The former Vice President voted at Poling Unit 12, Commissioners’ Quarters in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa state.
Speaking to journalists after voting, Atiku said the process was credible, adding that the extra measures taken by security agencies were meant to stop vote buying.
He expressed optimism that he had done enough to emerge victorious after the polls.
