JUST IN: Buhari, Ministers Honour Ex-FEC Member with a Minute Silence
POLITICS DIGEST – The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday observed a minute of silence in honour of former Minister of State for Power and Steel, Chief Oyekunle Oluwasanmi, who died recently.
Just about commencement of the weekly virtual meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, called for the minute of silence.
Late Oluwasanmi was one-time an Area Administrator with the Nigerian Customs Service, a member, the Committee for States and Local Governments creation that birthed the six states in 1996 and Chairman of the Board of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Other members of FEC physically present at the meeting include Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari and Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan.
Also present are Ministers of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed and Justice, Abubakar Malami.
