JUST IN: Court Declares Jonathan Eligible To Contest Presidential Election
POLITICS DIGEST- The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa has ruled that former President Goodluck Jonathan is eligible to contest the 2023 presidential election.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Isa Hamma Dashen, gave the judgement on Friday.

He also held that Jonathan’s right to vie for the office of president again cannot be stopped by any retroactive law.
Recall that Politics Digest reported how former president Jonathan secretly submitted his APC Presidential nomination and expression of interest forms obtained by some group of people, at the party secretariat.
While it’s two days to APC presidential primary, Jonathan is yet to confirm or release statement concerning his political aspiration.
