JUST IN: Ganduje rejects Dan’gundi’s resignation
POLITICS DIGEST- The Acting Governor of Kano State Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has rejected the resignation of the Managing Director of Kano Roads Traffic Agency Baffa Babba Dan-agundi.
It was exclusively gathered that Dan-agundi would be tendering his resignation letter to the governor on Monday as reported by this paper.
POLITICS DIGEST authoritatively gathered that Dan-agundi has written and submitted his resignation letter to the acting governor today, but the governor who is in United Arab Emirates for an assignment has ordered the acting governor to reject the letter.

When the Managing Director was contacted over the matter this afternoon by our reporter, he said: “Its true that I sent my resignation letter but was rejected by His Excellency.
Out of loyalty to the governor, whom I have immense respect for and i regard as a father, I will not be taken any move other than the decision of His Excellency”.
On whether he will be contesting in 2023 election, he reiterated to this paper that his next line of action will be based on what the governor will say as his son.
“My relationship with the governor is not that of a boss alone but that of a father and son”.
The Managing Director of the agency is one of the closest ally of the governor. He was with the governor in United Arab Emirates before coming back to the country on Sunday.
