JUST IN: Gombe PDP Free Fall Continues as Former Deputy Governor Defects to APC

Barely 24 hours after a governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), a former deputy governor, in the administration of Ibrahim Dankwambo, Charles Iliya, has also moved to the APC.
The APC also received the North East zonal PDP secretary, Kabir Bappah Jauro, into the party in the latest gale of defections.
Their defection was formerly perfected at the flag off of the re-election campaign rally of Governor Inuwa Yahaya held at Pantami Stadium, Gombe.
