POLITICS DIGEST – Protesters, on Friday, stormed the Abuja private office of Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, urging him to declare for 2023 presidential race.
The protesters who include women and children carrying Jonathan’s picture frame and placards marched to his office located in Maitama, Abuja to convince him to throw his hat in the ring.

The Nigerian Young Professionals in Diaspora (NYPD) had also on Tuesday given Jonathan one week ultimatum to declare for 2023 Presidential or face litigation.
The group which comprises of Young Professionals in Diaspora is made up of Nigerians from all over the country who are based in different countries.
The convener of the group, Arc. Oladipo Akande, in a press release made available to newsmen via email from Los Angeles, United States of America, stated that it was imperative for the former helmsman to join the race immediately.
Meanwhile, the former President’s campaign posters have been posted in strategic locations at the headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), fuelling speculations that his supporters want him to contest on the platform of the ruling party.
