JUST IN: Kano State Government withdraws President Buhari’s invitation to commission Projects
Kano state government has withdrawn the invitation it sent to President Muhammadu Buhari requesting him to commission some projects in the state.
The withdrawal by the Kano state government is tied to the scenario of stoning and booing at the President which took place in Katsina state yesterday when he was in the state to also commission some projects.
The state government took the hasty decision in order to avert repetition of a similar scenario in Kano state.
The government also complained that the President gestured he will be in Kano for just a 1-day official visit. Meanwhile, earlier this week he was in Lagos state for a 2-day official visit. Why not Kano state?
