While Mrs Tinubu arrived the polling unit by 8:30am, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials didn’t arrive until about 9:20am.
After arriving, the BVAS machine could not capture the finger prints of the Senator after repeated attempts.
The voting officials had to resort to verifying her eyes with the machines and she was given three ballot papers to vote.
Speaking to newsmen after the exercise, Mrs Tinubu described the delay as a minor issue.
Asked to rate the chances of her husband becoming Nigeria’s next President, she said: “Everything is in God’s hands. We have done our best. Let His will be done.”
