JUST IN: I’m Not Fixated On Selling National Assets – Atiku

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has allayed the fears of most Nigerians about his alleged obsession with selling national assets.
The former Vice President spoke during his appearance on Sunday on the Channels Television’s Politics Today.

Atiku said that Nigerians need to come to terms with the reality that the private sector is the driver of the economy and provider of jobs.
He however challenged anybody who feels that he is hellbound on selling national assets to vote whoever they feel has contrary ideology or plans towards reviving the country’s ailing economy.
“I’m not fixated on selling national assets. We must come to the reality of the fact that the private sector remains the driver of the economy and provider of jobs.
“Well, anyone who feel I’m fixated on selling national assets can vote whoever they feel is not having the same ideology,” he said.
