POLITICS DIGEST – Senator Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Osun Governorship election, has secured the highest number of votes in the exercise.

The result announced at the INEC Collation Centre in Osogbo showed that the PDP candidate who is the uncle of Music Star, Davido won in 17 Local Government Areas while, his closest rival, incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola, secured victory in 13 LGAs.
The electoral officials are putting finishing touches to the collation sheet.
