“Since the PDP in the North West zone is one family, there is the need to conduct a congress in a conducive atmosphere devoid of violence.
The information circulating that there is a court order that prevent the conduct of the congress is far from the truth, nothing that the candidate barred from contesting as a result of a court order can obtain another court order that may allow him to contest”.
He added that there are some groups in the North West particularly from Kano who want a consensus arrangement despite that the Vice Chairmanship of the Northwest is open to all but they still insisting on consensus arrangement.
He urge the party stakeholders to be patient and cooperative until another date is fixed by the caretaker committee.
