JUST IN: Shekarau Faction Lose as Court of Appeal uphold Ganduje’s faction congresses
POLITICS DIGEST- An Abuja division of the Court of Appeal on Thursday set aside the judgment of the FCT High Court which invalidated the Kano state ward and local government congresses.
The Appeal Court held that the lower Court lacks jurisdiction.

It would be recalled that the Ibrahim Shekarau faction had headed to the FCT High Court after the congresses of the APC in Kano and the court upheld the group’s held congresses as against that of the governor Ganduje’s side.
The appellate Court also held that the case was not a pre-election matter but an internal matter of the ruling party, therefore should be decided by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
