Shettima said as a leader he would keep preaching peace and calmness, adding however that he won’t allow INEC’s shoddy preparation to disenfranchise his people.
He therefore called on INEC to extend voting time from 2:30pm to 10pm since voting will be commencing late in most parts of the state.
Borno state where Shettima was a two-term governor is one of the states the APC presidential ticket is hoping to get block votes that may brighten their chances of emerging victorious.
