POLITICS DIGEST- Bishops and pastors who were accused of impersonation for attending the unveiling of Senator Kashim Shettima as running mate to Tinubu have presented proof of their status as clerics and founders of different Christian ministries across the country.
The Secretary of the Muslim-Christian Love Foundation Bishop Adams Abel King made the presentation in Abuja on Monday.

King said that they never portrayed themselves as ’emissaries’ of CAN at the event.
“Our identification with Shettima and the APC was informed by his transformation of Borno State, where I handled the management of social relations, including the protection of rights for all regardless of religion when he was governor of Borno State.”
He said that Shettima has preserved the rights, freedoms, and well-being of Christian faiths at a time things were difficult for him as a chief security officer in Borno State.
Abel King distanced himself from the claim that they were sponsored to impersonate the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
