Kano: Abba K. Yusuf Lauds PDP Ward Congress
POLITICS DIGEST – The Kano State Governorship candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 election, Engr. Abba K. Yusuf has commended the efforts of the Party’s leadership in conducting peaceful ward Congress in the state.
The party had recently conducted congresses in all the 484 political wards of the state.
In a statement by his personal aide, Ibrahim Adam, Yusuf to made the commendation at his ward in Diso-Chiranchi ward of Gwale Local Government Area.

He said: “Despite the broad daylight robbery on the mandate of the party during the 2019 elections, members of People’s Democratic Party keep hope alive by coming out to discharge their civic rights in choosing a new leadership of the party at wards levels through out the State.
“I am impressed by the turnout of our party members who are deeply committed in seeing one united PDP and whose interest in the development of our State remains unshakable.
“I congratulate those who won this election and console those who did not scale through with assurance that everybody is going to be carried along, until our effort to salvage the State from the present tyranny by the so-called State Government”, Yusuf added.
The PDP candidate also commended the state caretaker committee of the party for the successful conduct of the Congress.
He then called on both the National and State leadership of the party to sustain the tempo, especially in the forthcoming Local and State Congresses.
