Kano Governor Appoints 15 New Special Advisers
POLITICS DIGEST – Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano has approved the appointment 15 Special Advisers.
This is coming hours after the state Assembly approved the Governor’s request to appoint additional advisers for easier dispensation of duties.
The appointment contained in a statement by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Tuesday.
The appointees include Colonel Abubakar Usman Garin Malam retired as the Special Adviser, Disaster Management, Malam Usamatu Salga, Special Adviser, Religious Affairs I, honorable Abduljabbar Muhammad Umar , Special Adviser Investment and Public Private Partnership.

Honorable Jamilu Abbas was appointed theSpecial Adviser Cooperative Groups, Honorable Muhammad Jamu Yusuf as the Special Adviser National and International Public Relation, Balarabe Ibrahim Gaya, as the Special Adviser Special Intervention Programmes and Right Honorable Isyaku Ali Danja as theSpecial Adviser, Assembly Matters.
The remaining appointees include Comrade Baffa Sani Gaya, Special Adviser, Labour Matters, Engineer Abdullahi Shehu, Special Adviser, Environmental Sanitation, Honorable Umar Musa Gama, Special Adviser, School Feeding Programme, Honorable Habibu Hassan Elyakub, Special Adviser, Vocational Education Development, Honorable Jamilu Abubakar Dambatta, Special Adviser Publicity and Honorable Umar Uba Akawu, as the Special Adviser, Abuja Liason Office.
