Kano Govt Flags Off Distribution of Scholarship to 400 Students In LGA
POLITICS DIGEST – Kano state government has on Thursday launched the distribution of scholarship to over 400 students in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of the state.
The state’s Deputy Governor, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, who represented the state’s Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, during the launch, said the initiative is part of their administration’s commitment to prioritizing education.
Gwarzo, according to a statement issued to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, also declared education as mankind’s hope and a pivotal pathway to the success and progress of society.

The Deputy Governor also underscored the significance of education, saying “This is a clear example illustrating that education is never a waste, regardless of its scale or where one seeks knowledge. It is a seed sowed, and with dedicated attention, it yields a bountiful harvest, whether in the long or short term.”
Congratulating the scholarship beneficiaries, the Deputy Governor urged the students to broaden their horizons by exploring entrepreneurial skills, fostering self-employment and contributing to reduction of the unemployment rate upon completion of their studies.
The Governor also emphasized the importance of focusing on their studies and encouraged them to give back to their communities the knowledge their acquire during their studies.
He reaffirmed that the state government’s doors are always open for advice and cooperation for the development of Kano State and the country at large.
