In a statement on Tuesday signed by the Media Aide in the office of the party’s Gubernatorial candidate in 2019 elections, Ibrahim Adam, PDP described the commissioner’s comments as annoying, saying that no amount of political blackmail will erase the achievements of the former Governor in the state.
The party said “The State Government is focusing on irrelevant activities while at the same time envying the achievements of the previous administration of Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
“The shameless attempt to rejuvenate these existing projects is uncalled for, rather it would have been better if they attempt to reinvigorate other bogus projects carried out by their administration”, the statement added.
PDP also explained that Kano state people are still benefiting from robust projects it initiated, noting that it will be better if Ganduje administration focuses more on fulfilling its promises, rather than embarking on campaigns of calumny and blackmail.
According to PDP, the state government is rather trying to divert people’s attention from what it called substandard bridges especially in Kofar Ruwa and Sharada, which the party alleged kill people instead of relieving them of traffic jam in the areas.
