Kano: Sheik Daurawa Reconciles With Gov. Yusuf Returns As Hisbah CG
Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has reconciled with the Commander General of the State Hisbah Board, Sheikh Aminu Daurawa who had last week resigned his appointment.
Daurawa who resigned via a viral video while attending a retreat organised by the state House of Assembly attributed his action to open criticism of Hisba operatives and action.

Confirming the development, a statement issued by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Spokesperson to the Governor, said following the visit of renowned Islamic scholars under the auspices of Coalition of Ulama and Islamic Organisations, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa will resume his routine official engagements as Commander General of Kano State Hisba Board.
It said Shiek Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa visited the governor in the company of a delegation led by Dr Musa Borodo and other notable Islamic Scholars that include Dr. Sa’idu Ahmad Dukawa, Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdallah, Prof. Salisu among others.
The meeting lasted for one hour with the Governor His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, his Deputy Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Jibrin Ismail Falgore, Secretary to State Government Dr Abdullahi Baffa Bichi and the Chief of Staff Alhaji Shehu Wada Sagagi in attendance,’’ the statement said.
Briefing Government House Press Crew, Dr. Sa’idu Ahmad Dukawa said Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa will resume his responsibilities on Tuesday at Kano Hisba Board.
