KEDCO CEO, Gwamna Loses Mother
POLITICS DIGEST – The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Jamil Isyaku Gwamna on Thursday lost his mother, Hajiya Halima Isyaku Gwamna.
Popularly known as ‘Mama’, Hajiya Halima died at the age of 80 at Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital, Kano.
According to the KEDCO Corporate Communications in a statement signed by its head, Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Hajiya Halima had played her role well while alive both as a mother as well as role model.

They described her as a mother to all and a rare gem, adding that her benevolence to issues of humanity was never in short supply as she was a pillar of hope to many families in Gombe, Kano and Nigeria as a whole.
“Hajia Halima would be greatly missed at a time like this when her motherly advice is still needed to help guide up coming ones but with gratitude to God for a life well spent, may her soul rest in perfect peace. She would remain a model for others to emulate”, the statement read in part.
The statement finally condoled with Jamil Gwamna and the entire family, while praying for God to grant her eternal rest as well as grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
