KEDCO to Hold Marketing Conference, Award Night to Customers
POLITICS DIGEST – In recognition of the robust relationship with its customers, the management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has unveiled its plan to hold marketing conference and award night.
The event, which is scheduled to hold on January 19, 2020, has the theme “Efficient Service Delivery Key to Sustainable Growth”.
KEDCO in a statement by its head of Corporate Communications, Ibrahim Sani Shawai, said the conference will focus on three major presentations of evaluating trends and challenges for sustainable and improved collection efficiency, Corporate performance now and year ahead and building efficient team through strategic leadership.
The company added that, “The conference and the Managing Director’s award night will take place the same day. While the conference is to take place between 9am and 5pm, the MD’s award night is starting by 7 pm the same day and both events are holding at Meenat Event Centre, Lodge Road Kano.

“The event is estimated to have 1,700 staff invitees for the marketing conference and the conference is to serve as a platform for deliberation on how to strategise and focus for the year for the benefits of employees and customers.
“The management says it has finalized all arrangements to make the event colourful and memory lasting with special features to make the participants have a feel of the packages that KEDCO is set to unbundle in the course of the year 2020.
In his message, the Managing Director of KEDCO, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna said it was time for the company to show some of the deliverables that the company is set to offer to both the customers and staff.
He said the conference will also serve as an avenue to review best global standards in terms of operations to better the service delivery packages through fruitful engagements of key stakeholders who will grace the event.
He added that, “The event will be the best of its kind in terms of what we are set to offer in presentations and the series of activities lined up for participants. This event will also show how we appreciate our staff for outstanding performances”
