New Tariff Review Will Improve Electricity Supply – KEDCO
POLITICS DIGEST – The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has said that the new tariff review has great benefit to customers as it will bring improvement in electricity service delivery.
The company also said the review will enhance its capacity towards maximizing customers’ satisfaction across its franchise areas.
KEDCO who stated this on Tuesday in a statement signed by its head of corporate communication, Ibrahim Sani Shawai added that the initiative is for the benefit of citizens as the end users of electricity.
According to the DisCo, it has maintained a steady improvement in service delivery over the years and with the new tariff review, while promising its customers of total satisfaction.

On the benefits of the new tariff, KEDCO said, “Revenue from the tariff review will help KEDCO resolve identified Technical Network Constraints that will Enable more Supply of energy to our customers.

Similarly, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEDCO, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna said, “We are not in business to do anything short of giving satisfaction to our customers and in any case that is the essence of business; rendering such services that will impact positively on the satisfaction of our customers.
“When this tariff takes full effect, customers will feel the positive impact in improved service delivery, that we can assure them”, he added.
Gwamna therefore, appealed for customers’ support to embrace the new initiative, stressing that it would chart a good course for power sector improvement in the country.
