KEDCO Assures Kano Residents of Regular Power Supply During Lock Down
POLITICS DIGEST – The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has assured its customers across Kano state of regular electricity supply during the seven days lockdown period.
This is coming when the new lock down order announced by Kano state government to curb further spread of Coronavirus disease in the state takes effect by 10pm on Thursday.
According to the company, the move will ensure that customers make the most of the time to relax as all its essential service staff would be deployed to strategic locations to ensure that there are no technical issues.
KEDCO added that, “In line with the responsibility of KEDCO as a service provider, we will ensure that we use this period of lockdown to make our customers happier than before.
“To ensure that customers do not have issues with any of our services, we plan to stationed our customer care vehicles at some strategic locations in order to help customers in need.
“For those that may have any issue with how to purchase units or complaint about technical faults in their areas, we are bringing KEDCO closer to them.
“We have put adequate logistics in place for essential staff to ensure routine monitoring and supervision of KEDCO installations and equipment to ensure that technical issues are minimized, KEDCO added.
The Kano DisCo then called for more support of the people to the government’s order, noting that such will benefit everyone against the spread of COVID-19.
