Pay Your Outstanding Debts to Let us Serve you Better, KEDCO Urges Customers
POLITICS DIGEST – The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has called for more understanding and commitment from their customers towards settling outstanding bills in the interest in order to improve power distribution in their franchise areas.
The company in a statement by its Head of Corporate Communications, Ibrahim Sani Shawai explained that it is only by payment of these bills that it can continue to serve their customers in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states better.

KEDCO noted that to ensure equitable distribution of electricity in these states, their customers must also show understanding by pay for service rendered to them, noting that it will go a long way in enhancing the distribution capacity.
“It is not fair on business if there is a breach of any sort whether in terms of service delivery or payment for the services rendered.
“We have been faithful in delivering effective and efficient services to our customers and in that light we call on them to also reciprocate the good gesture by paying all outstanding bills.
“Power is serious business from generation to transmission to distribution. We are at the end point of this power sector franchise and we also remit monies to stakeholders within the power chain.
KEDCO then promised that its customers will witness improved service delivery in 2020.
