Kogi 2023: Associates Pick APC Guber Forms for Accountant General

Associates of Alhaji Jibril Momoh, on Tuesday, picked a gubernatorial form for the Kogi state Accountant General (AG) at the All Progressive Congress (APC) party secretariat.
Leader of the group, Hon Paul Ebije, a former commissioner under governor Yahaya Bello, said that Mr Momoh will clinch the ticket of the gubernatorial primary because “he’s ahead of other aspirants in the race”. He said.

He said, Mr Momoh being an Ebira man, will consolidate on the agreement made in the state to give other tribe chance to also rule for 16years, just as Igala did rule for 14 years.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for allowing fair level playing ground without imposing any candidate.
“I promise you that my prinicipal will defeat any candidates in the contest, he’s a man of integrity who has pure love from his people. And His excellency, the governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has given a go ahead to all the aspirants to contest without imposing anybody on them”. Ebije said.
