2023: Kwankwaso, others form third force
POLITICS DIGEST – A former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Tuesday announced the formation of a political Third Force, under the aegis of The National Movement (TNM), to challenge the dominance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the Nigerian polity.
According to them, the Third Force would take over power from the All Progressives Congress in 2023.
The TNM said it was conscious of the need to save the country from disintegration.

Others who gathered at the International Conference Centre, Abuja for the launch of the movement were: Tanko Yakasai; Air Vice Marshall Ifeanaju; Solomon Edoda; Nweze Onu; Falasade Aliyu; Rufai Alkali; Grace Bent; Ubale Shittu; Aminu Ibrahim Ringim; Ali Gwaska; Paul Okala; Rufai Hanga; Idris Wada; Abdulrahman Abubakar, Dr A.B Baffa among several others.
