Kwankwaso gives out Halima Shekarau’s hand in marriage today
POLITICS DIGEST- Former governor of Kano state Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Senate President Ahmed Lawan are to stand as guardians of a daughter of Malam Ibrahim Shekarau at her wedding ceremony on Friday.
KANO FOCUS reports that a Kwankwasiyya stalwart Sanusi Bature Dawakintofa announced this on Facebook.
Dawakintofa’s post reads:
“Tomorrow Friday 24th December, 2021, Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso a long with Senate President Dr. Ahmed Lawan will give out in marriage, the daughter of Sen Mal. Ibrahim Shekarau Halima (Amira).
A Kwankwasiyya stalwart Sanusi Bature Dawakintofa announced this on Facebook.

The post reads:
“Tomorrow Friday 24th December, 2021, Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso a long with Senate President Dr. Ahmed Lawan will give out in marriage, the daughter of Sen Mal. Ibrahim Shekarau Halima (Amira).
“Halima Ibrahim Shekarau is set to marry Adamu Yusuf Maitama at Umar Bn Khatthab mosque, zaria road, Kano…at 2pm after Jumaat prayer.”
Shekarau had on Thursday paid a condolence visit to Kwankwaso at his Miller road residence over the death of his younger brother Inuwa Musa Kwankwaso.
Ganduje had earlier made a similar visit along some members of his cabinet. The visit had generated reactions from different groups of people. Many people perceived Ganduje’s visit as calculated attempt to reconcile with his former boss.
