Kwara lawmaker organizes special victory prayer for Abdulrahman, others

Idofian (Kwara) June 6, 2022 (NAN) The Council of Imams, Idofian District of Ifelodun Local government of Kwara on Monday organized a one-day special prayer in honour of the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq; and his administration.
The prayer was held at the instance of Barr. Abdulganiyu Salahudeen popularly known as AGF at the Jimba-Oja Central mosque, led by Chief Imam Idofian and the Council’s Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Alao.
Alao also prayed for other aspirants of All Progress Congress (APC) in the State for successful first tenure and victory in their re-election bid in the forthcoming 2023 general elections in the State.
Speaking with newsmen at the sidelines of the prayer, Alhaji Fatai Mustapha, the APC Chairman of Ward in Ifelodun Local Government commended the administration of Abdulrahman for giving back to people in the state their yearning and aspirations.
Mustapha also commended Salahudeen on proper representation of the Constituent and ensuring infrastructural development of the district.

He explained that during the difficult times in 2018/2019, the district sought God’s intervention and such intervention was answered with the administration success stories witnessed all over the state, most especially in the districts.
The Chairman prayed that the program, put in place since the begining of the first tenure, would continue to be successful and will assist the State under the party to go well.
In his remarks at the occasion, Honourable Dauda Ibikunle, the Supervisory Councilor for Health, Ifelodun Local Government, expressed gratitude to Salaudeen for organizing the programme for the governor and his administration.
He explained that Salaudeen has made efforts to promote self employment for the teeming youths which has complemented the Gobernors the Social Investment Program (SIP) to reduce unemployment.
“Under this administration, the government has not stopped developing the state even as elections are close by as they have constantly provided social amenities and people-oriented programmes for the needs of all Kwara people,” he said
In his response, Abdulganiyu Salahudeen, commended the administration of Abdulrazaq, while recalling that in 2018, the administration organized the same program to pray to God to take control of the election and the prayers were answered.
Salahudeen, however, said that the people in his constituency knew the assistance rendered to them by the Governor, appreciated the government and want the governor’s APC administration to continue its tenure. (NAN)
