COVID-19: Kwara Lawmaker Donates Items Worth Millions as Palliative to Constituents
POLITICS DIGEST – In view of the untold hardship occasioned by the lockdown, Edu/Moro/Patigi federal constituency in Kwata state, Hon. Ahmed Ndakene, has distributed palliatives to alleviate the sufferings of the needy and vulnerable among his constituents.
The lawmaker in his statement, commended the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his commitment towards the fight against COVID 19 pandemic in the state and the technical measures he has put in place to contain the spread of the deadly virus in the State.

He has also assured the people of Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency that the hard times would soon be over, as the relevant agencies and authorities of government are not leaving any stone unturned in the fight against the dreaded virus. He also urged them not to panic, but obey government directives and guidelines on COVID 19 and to be prayerful.
Speaking through his Media Aide, Comr. Abubakar Saddiq Buhari, the lawmaker said over three thousand families will benefit from the food items and other palliatives meant for the vulnerable, needy, necessitous and underprivileged among his constituents, with one thousand beneficiaries captured from each of the three Local Government Areas constituting the constituency.
Present at the take off of the distribution of the palliatives were the APC Chairmen of the three Local Government Areas, (Edu, Patigi and Moro), namely Mall. Aliyu Mohammed Labasa, Edu; Alh. Adebayo Jimoh, Moro; Mall. Mohammed Mohammed Suansun, Patigi; with other community elders and youths from the constituency.
The food items distributed to the constituents include, Semo (corn flours), Spaghetti, Noodles, Milk, Salt, Vegetable oil, Sugar Seasonings among others.
Constituents and beneficiaries of the palliatives expressed joy and optimism about the future of the Constituency under Hon. Ndakene.
