Kwara Must Change unveil indicators for 2023 election projection
POLITICS DIGEST – A leading Pro-Democracy group, Kwara Must Change has unveiled the 16 indicators it adopted in its investigation across the 16 local govt areas to project the 2023 general election in Kwara State.
Kwara Must Change also noted that the 2023 projection is a more detailed and comprehensive exercise than the 2019 exercise done by the group.
Recall that in 2019, Kwara Must Change projected rightly, all the elections that took place in Kwara State.
The group projected rightly, the winner of the 24 state assembly,6 federal house of representatives, 3 senators and the governorship.

In a statement by the state coordinator, Comrade Yusuf Moyosore, Kwara Must Change explained that, the 2023 election projection research was done through investigation of 16 key indicators, which are inter related and have direct and indirect influence on electoral choices of the people.
“The indicators include party and candidate presence, active operations, popularity, public acceptability, goodwill, criticism, community engagement,trends, religious sentiment, traditional sentiment, political realignment, local issues of influence, personality influence, media and public relations, party structure, canvasing and contact and mobilization” the statement reads.
According to Yusuf, Kwara Must Change and its partners developed these indicators to appropriately aggregate public opinion, expert observation and subject them to critical analysis, which is what we have done to arrive at our projection for 2023.
“Kwara Must Change projection for 2023 general election shall be made public soon”, Yusuf said.
