Kwara Speaker Vows to Immortalise Late Tafida of Ilorin
POLITICS DIGEST– The Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi has expressed shock over the death of elder statesman, Dr. Amuda Aluko.
Dr. Amuda Aluko, the Tafida of Ilorin, passed on yesterday.
While condoling with His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari, family and friends of the deceased, the legislator assured that, the state will immortalize his symbolic commitments to the development of the state.

The speaker, in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on media, Ibrahim Sheriff, described the late Dr. Aluko as an elder statesman whose commitment and sacrifices to Kwara state is exemplary and worthy of emulation.
“On behalf of the 9th legislature of Kwara state, my heartfelt condolence to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari, family, friends and associates of Dr. Aluko, who departed at a time where his wealth of experience is of great significance to our State and people” he said.
“While we lack the power to undo the will of the Almighty, we will continue to immortalize our heroes by emulating and reinvigorating their ideas and values of developing our society and humanity at large even after their death”
“We ask Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept hi good deeds and admit him in Aljannatu Firdaus, amin,” he added.
