Law Don: Emir Sanusi’s Reinstatement a Nullity

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and lecturer at the Bayero University Faculty of Law, Professor Mamman Lawan Yusufari, said that yesterday’s ruling by a Federal High Court in Kano has nullified Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s action of reinstating Muhammadu Sanusi as Kano Emir.
The learned silk stated this in an interview with Voice of America, monitored by Politics Digest.
“The action of the governor of signing that bill into law is null and void according to the order of the court” he said.
