Let’s Work Together For Betterment of Kano, Ganduje Tells PDP
POLITICS DIGEST – Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf to join hands with his administration in order to move the state forward.
He made the call shortly after his victory at the Supreme Court against the PDP candidate in 20019 governorship election in the state.
Ganduje, in a statement signed by the his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Abba Anwar, thanked the Almighty Allah for the victory at the apex Court which reaffirmed judgments of Election Petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

The Governor also thanked the people of the state on how they conducted themselves peacefully during the trial and all those who actively participated in praying for the victory that came his way, emphasising that, “Whoever believes and depends on Allah, will always see light at the beginning, middle and end of the tunnel, no matter the circumstances.
“We also commend all the Judges who partook in this exercise of deepening democracy. This shows the commitment of our judiciary in strengthening our democracy. This is highly commendable.
“I insist that our political opponents should come and join us to move the state forward. We have a lot of developmental projects on ground. And more are coming. Our free and compulsory education policy needs all hands on deck. Our security system also needs all and sundry. Among others,” he said.
Supporters and well-wishers of the governor have been celebrating in the state’s government shortly after the announcement of the Supreme Court Verdict.
