Jigawa state governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar

A Letter to Jigawa State Governor, By Umar Farouk Jahun

POLITICS DIGEST – Your Excellency, as one of the citizen and faithful subjects who has nothing but the utmost respect for you and your office, I am constrained to write this.

Since you assumed office as the governor of Jigawa State, you have tried in various ways to make our dear State the true light of the nation. The areas you have tried include the rehabilitation of roads in various parts of the state, equipping health centres, and many more.

Your Excellency, In 2015 and 2019 campaigns respectively, you promised infrastructure and Jobs for the youth. The youths believe you being in government means automatic job and will enable them to live a better life. As a result, they turn to be the most disruptive during elections because they see contrary position to the source of these promises as those blocking their paradise on earth.

Moreover, this cancer of unemployment is for long hunting down the respected youth of Jigawa state. Perhaps, alot of youths are suffering from depression and many are drawn into gangs to fill that viod.

Sir, your Government should focus on extensive employment in afflocted areas as well as the urgent attentions towards the need to educate the youth. That’s one of the ways to give youths the starting air they need to take Jigawa State forward and sustain their lives.

Your Excellency, you know better than me that promoting youth employment and employability requires important integrated effort that includes actions in the areas of education, skills development, job supply and support for young low-income entrepreneurs, particularly in the knowledge intensive sectors.

I strongly believe you and your government are doing good in that regard to curb down this deadly disease of unemployment. I know you’ve done exponentially great job with the emphasis on social investment programs and so many other initiatives purposely to curtail the situation from further

Your Excellency, I sincerely hope you will pay utmost heed to my admonition which is devoid of malicious intent and antagonistic approach. I look forward to seeing great and historical feats from your administration.

    God bless Jigawa State!
