Majority of Senators Want Buhari Impeached – Sen. Bulkachuwa

POLITICS DIGEST- The senator representing Bauchi North Senators District, Adamu Bulkachuwa, has confirmed that the majority of the senators agreed to take the decision to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari, but insisted there was no truth in the rumour of his defection plan.

Bulkachuwa, who featured on Channels’ Politics Today yesterday also denied that 10 All Progressives Congress (APC) senators were planning to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), adding that it is the conjecture of the opposition.
“If it is what you have either heard or read, I was also included. But I am in APC.
“We considered these things among the Senators. And please, we are looking for solutions to Nigeria’s problems and not our personal problems”, he said.
He blamed a section of the media for choosing to amplify what it should not.
He added that Nigeria comes first before party affiliation.
Recall that the PDP senators last week threatened President Muhammadu Buhari with impeachment if the security situation does not improve in six weeks.
