2023: More Ganduje’s Commissioners, Aides Resign
POLITICS DIGEST- Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s Education Commissioner, Sunusi Saidu Kiru, and that of Commerce Mahmoud Muhammad Sanusi, have resigned their appointments.
Also, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Monitoring and Evaluation , Farouq Sule Garo, has resigned his position to pursue his political career.
In his letter of resignation to the governor, Sunusi Saidu Kiru, appreciated the opportunity to serve in the Ganduje administration and the confidence reposed in him during the period.

Governor Ganduje had directed appointees wishing to contest in 2023 general elections to resign on or before April 18th in line with the Electoral Act.
Three other commissioners had earlier also tendered their resignation letters.
They include clCommissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Murtala Sule Garo, Commissioner for Rural Development, Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, and his Budget Planning counterpart, Nura Dankadai.
Sunusi Kiru said his resignation is to afford him the opportunity to seek to represent Bebeji/Kiru constituency at the House of Representatives.
Garo said the resignation became pertinent for him to serve the people in another capacity by contesting for the House of Representatives seat for Gwarzo /Kabo federal constituency.
