Muaz Magaji yet to fulfill bail conditions, to spend two more days in Correctional Centre
POLITICS DIGEST – A fierce critic of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state and former Commissioner for Works, Muaz Magaji, is yet to fulfill all the conditions attached to the bail granted him by a Magistrate Court.
The former Commissioner has fulfilled all the conditions except that of his International Passport which he was also asked to submit to the authorities.
POLITICS DIGEST learnt that all efforts to get the passport from Abuja failed as the bail was granted late in the evening on Friday.

The former commissioner left some of his documents including the International Passport in Abuja where he was arrested and brought to Kano by men of the Nigerian Police Force.
A magistrate court on Friday, also directed the defendant who was standing trial on a four count charge of criminal defamation, intentional insults against Governor Ganduje to provide two surety, with one of them being the village head of Sarauniya, and the other must either be Hisbah Commander or the Chief Imam of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area and also deposit the sum of N1m with the court.
The presiding Magistrate, Aminu Gabari, later adjourned the matter to March 2, 2022 for further mention.
