Muhammad Kadade Suleiman: Meet PDP’s Youth Leader, whose Age Remains a Mystery
POLITICS DIGEST- 48 hours after the historic convention of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Nigerians are yet to come to terms with the fact that a 25-year-old has just emerged as the National Youth Leader of the party.
The reason is not far-fetched. Over the years, both the PDP and the APC have formed a habit of choosing 60-year-olds as National Youth Leaders.
While some Nigerians are excited that a man of 25 years who will properly represent the youths, is now holding the position, and this excitement is across all parties, some Nigerians are taken aback about how young the man is, and wondering if he didn’t adjust his age backwards for effect.
At first, the young man only mentioned that he was born in 1996 as efforts to get his day and month of birth proved abortive.
Suleiman has however cleared the air as he was heard in an interview with BBC Hausa Service on Monday that he was born on the 7th of July, 1996.
Other Nigerians are struggling to believe the rate of high level political connections the young man has at his age.
