National Convention: March 26 Date Intact – APC Governors
POLITICS DIGEST – The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors have affirmed that the party’s scheduled National Convention for late March remains intact.
Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu gave this assurance Tuesday, after a meeting of the forum with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Bagudu also debunked speculations on division among the APC Governors.
There had been speculations that a section of the party was pushing for a postponement of the national convention so that it will hold on the same day as the Presidential primaries.
