NCAA suspends Azman Air indefinitely
POLITICS DIGEST – Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has suspended Kano-based airline Azman Air Limited. Azman Air was suspended Tuesday morning for operational lapses and failure to comply with aviation safety guidelines and protection of passengers’ rights.
Passengers on Azman Air narrowly escaped a fatal crash on Monday when the flight had a tyre burst while landing in Kaduna.

A similar incident occurred two weeks ago at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja when a Azman aircraft sustained tyre damage on landing at the airport. The airline also made the announcement on its Twitter handle.
A FAAN statement read: “FAAN has announced a temporary closure of Runway 18R/36L at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos.
The closure is due to a landing incident involving a Boeing 737 Azman Air aircraft with registration 5N SYS, and flight number ZQ2325.”
