Niger PDP tasks Gov Bello to rescue abducted Tegina pupils, commissioner
POLITICSDIGEST – The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Niger State has tasked Governor Abubakar Sani Bello to rescue the abducted Tegina Islammiyya children, teachers and his Commissioner for Information, Mohammed Sani Idris, abducted in Tafa Local Government Area of the state.
The party, in a press statement signed by state Chairman, Bar. Tanko Beji, made available to newsmen in Minna, described the development as very unfortunate and very sad.
According to him, “the PDP is roundly disgusted and alarmed, that over 70 days after the Tegina Islammiyya children were kidnapped, no word or even mere body movement to show seriousness from Governor Sani Bello.”

Beji argued that with the recent kidnap of his commissioner and cabinet member, the PDP has come to a conclusion that Niger State is adrift, rudderless and an inch away from failure.
He insisted that Governor Bello and the APC have no business being in any leadership position considering the “inept, clueless and classless” leadership they have rendered over the past six years.
It stated, “While the PDP conveys it prayers and heartfelt sadness to the families, we make haste to remind Governor Abubakar Sani Bello that the primary responsibility of any Government is security of lives and properties especially, this case that involves over 135 children of ages between 5 and 15 years old.”
How does Governor Sani Bello, sleep well, eat well, smile and junket around the world using state resources knowing that the people he swore to protect are in the hands of daredevil terrorists?”
