Nigeria @61: Kwankwaso advocates love, patriotism
POLITICS DIGEST– The immediate past Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 61st Independence Day anniversary.
In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja by the former Defence Minister, he called on all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, political or religious persuasion to imbibe the spirit of brotherhood.
Solacebase reports that Kwankwaso states that what the country needs at this trying times is for all to imbibe the spirit of brotherhood.

“I congratulate all Nigerians as we mark the occasion of the nation’s 61st Independence Day anniversary. Having come this far, the occasion calls for celebration but this is not so because of the situation of things In our dear country,’’ Kwankwaso said.
“While I agree that our country is passing through trying times, let me urge all compatriots not to despair but rather forge synergy by imbibing the spirit of brotherhood.” He said.
Kwankwaso added that the numerous problems plaguing the nation could only be surmounted while all Nigerians from all walks of life come together to rescue it and reposition it to greatness.
The former federal lawmaker who lauded the efforts of the nation’s founding fathers, added that patriotism, love and brotherhood are the necessary ingredients for the nation’s growth and development.
