NNPP Fumes as ‘APC Thugs’ Attack Ex-Kano Anti-Graft Czar’s Village
POLITICS DIGEST- The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State has condemned the attack on Barr. Muhuyi Magaji’s country home, and residents of other NNPP members in Rimingado community, by alleged ‘APC thugs’ who were on rampage last night.
Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Spokesperson of the NNPP Campaign Council in Kano, in a statement, described the attack as barbaric and inhumane.
Dawakin Tofa added that no amount of pressure will deter the NNPP from taking necessary action against victimisation of innocent citizens on the orders of government officials, who are supposed to protect the lives and properties of the general public.

The thugs, who according to him are believed to be sponsored by the APC government in the State, were said to have invaded the community at 7:00pm, after the NNPP state campaign team departed the area.
“The NNPP wish to sympathise with the residents of the community over the unfortunate incidence that left many injured and properties vandalised as part of APC’s deliberate attempts to scare away the voters ahead of 2023 general elections.
“We are lucky, the police have arrested one of the perpetrators of the attack, who in the process of his arrest injured a police officer of Rimingado division,” said Dawakin Tofa.
He expressed the readiness of the NNPP in the state to ensure that justice is given to the victims and that the suspects are brought to book.
