POLITICS DIGEST– The Rochas Foundation Old Students Association has warned the Imo State government on the assassination attempt of their benefactor Sen. Rochas Okorocha by armed thugs.
In a statement by its National President Suleiman Adamu and sent to newsmen, he said Sen. Okorocha is beyond a former governor but a father to thousands of children in Nigeria and Africa. Therefore an attack on him is an attack on his children.

Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha, the Rochas Foundation Old Students Association (ROFOSA) utterly expresses displeasure at the recent assassination attempt on her benefactor, founder and father (Sen. Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha) by armed thugs sponsored by the Imo State Government.
However, it should be noted that just like the biblical Abraham, Sen. Rochas Okorocha who beyond being a former Governor is also a father figure to thousands of children within the nation and across the continent. An attack on him is an attack on these children.
The essence of politics is for the goodwill of the people and not an avenue for witch hunting perceived enemies.
The association however implores the state government to channel its resources to delivering dividends of democracy to the masses other than witch hunting.
