Osinbajo: Money Tucked in Sourvenir Pack is Handiwork of Mischief-makers, Ajulo Says.
POLITICS DIGEST- A renowned legal practitioner and Converner, Progressive Lawyers For Osinbajo, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, has debunked the rumour making the rounds that the Vice President and foremost Presidential aspirant on the platform of the ruling party, the APC, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, tucked cash in souvenir packs handed to participants who attended the event of his courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Ọlálékan Balogun, at his Alarere Palace, and the interaction he had with the All Progressives Congress’ delegates and members on Friday, in Ibadan.
Ajulo, one of the leading advocates of an Osinbajo presidency and an attendee of the event, said at no point did he see cash as part of items in the souvenir packs. He said the content of the packs were strictly campaign materials and manifesto of the aspirant.
“Besides that this type of gimmick is old, it is a testament to how uncreative and low those who have always wanted to disparage the unblemished character of PYO can go.

“Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is not a dumb like most of them who preach what they do not practice. Why does he need to buy the conscience the same people who asked him to contest? Mischief is the best strategy of a certain known quarter whenever it is election season, and has become their trademark. They are the ones at it again. They tucked cash into one of the sourvenir packs and snapped to confuse innocent Nigerians.” Ajulo said.
The lawyer urged the general public to discountenance the rumour, saying it is only a figment of imagination of mischief-makers. He said it is a failed attempt to soil the character of the Vice President.
“I can perceive that a certain camp is very fraustrated by the wide acceptability of PYO across Nigeria. Such is expected, but there is practically nothing they can do about a project divinely arranged by God.
“It can boldly say without equivocation that people who joined the Vice President for the event did so out of genuine love and personal conviction. Some of the rare personalities that grace such an event was the revered legal luminary, Chief Adeniyi Michael Akintola, SAN, who confirmed this and also testified to the upright character of Prof. Yemi Osibanjo as a unifier, Second Republic Senator Tilley-Gyado, Ranking Senator Muhammad Bulkachuwa from Bauchi State, Professor Senator
Oserheimen Osunbor, former governor of Edo State, Senator Babafemi Ojudu and others.
“Nobody can claim to have visited Ibadan for the event on the bill of the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Yes, I mean nobody and I dare anyone to prove otherwise, and with substantive evidence. On a lighter note, Ajulo concluded, “I also beg anyone who has money tucked in his own souvenir pack to share with me.”
