Osun Governor Gboyega Oyetola has expressed optimism he will reclaim his mandate through the judiciary.
He also assured he’ll deliver the State to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.
Oyetola, who spoke on Monday to newsmen at the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja after a visit to the National Secretary of the party, Senator Iyiola Omisore, said the State will deliver one million votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2023.
The Governor lost the July 16 Osun governorship election to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
The PDP candidate polled 403,371 votes while the Governor scored 372,257.

Oyetola had approached the tribunal and demanded cancellation of the election over alleged over-voting and by-passing of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, among other electoral alleged irregularities.
“I don’t have any fear. I have faith in Almighty God. I will reclaim my mandate by the grace of God,” he said.
On the 2023 presidential poll, the Governor said the State was prepared to deliver for the APC Presidential candidate come February 25, 2023.
According him: “We have started the campaign, sometimes last week, we had a solidarity work throughout the state, we covered 11 km. The turnout was so massive.
“Osun as always been a state for the progressives. So, there is nothing to worry about. I can assure you, we will deliver nothing less than 1 million votes for Asiwaju.”
