2023: Our Ancestors are Behind you – Alaafin Endorses Tinubu

Former governor of Lagos state and 2023 Presidential frontrunner, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has received the endorsement of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
Tinubu visited the monarch on Sunday to seek his support for his ambition to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

The visit was in continuation of his consultation with highly respected monarchs across the federation.
“I am in your palace today to seek your support, cooperation and prayers for me to be the next president of Nigeria after President Muhammadu Buhari,” Tinubu, who was received by a mammoth crowd of supporters at the palace where his helicopter landed, said.
Offering prayers and good wishes for the actualization of his ambition, the Alaafin said: “I am sure that the Yoruba ancestors would support you to become the President.”
