PDP Candidate Sworn in to Replace Sacked Adamawa Senator
POLITICS DIGEST- The Senate has sworn in Amos Yohanna of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as Senator representing Adamawa North.

Senate’s Clerk, Chinedu Akubueze, administered the oath of office and oath of allegiance on Yohanna, at the directive of the Deputy President of the Senate, Jibrin Barau, who presided over plenary on Wednesday.
Yohanna replaces Senator Elisha Abbo of the All ProgressivesCongress (APC), who was recently sacked from the Red Chamber by the Appeal Court.
A three-member panel of the Court, led by Justice C.E. Nwosu-Iheme, on October 16, voided the election of Abbo and declared Yohanna as winner of the February 25 Senatorial District Election for Adamawa North
